How to Make Fairy Magic Wands

Want a fairy magic wand for your party? You will need the following items:

1 x Strong cardboard
1 x Assorted glitter or paint
1 x 30cm length of wood dowel

This is pretty easy to do. Take the strong cardboard, there are two ways you could cut the star shapes for your fairy wand tip. What I would do is fold the cardboard into two and cut out the star, as it would create two identicla stars, rather than 2 mismatched stars if you have uneasy hands or blunt scissors.

Take your piece of dowel and carefully glue the stars around the tip of the dowel so the dowel fits perfectly in between the two stars.

Leave to dry, and then either cover with glue and glitter or paint it to your preferred colour... and you have learned how to make fairy magic wands :)

Pretzel Fairy Wands

A nice little recipe for children at halloween, these are guaranteed to make your children drool.

You need:

  • Long rod pretzels
  • White dipping chocolate
  • Hundreds and millions

Melt the chocolate in a saucer and dip the pretzel rod about half to three quarters intot he melted chocolate, then simply sprinkle the hundreds and millions onto the chocolate before it sets.

Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler. Dip the pretzel rod half to three-quarters of the way into the melted chocolate then sprinkle the sprinkles over the wet chocolate. Lay on waxed paper until dry. This makes a nice, edible magic fairy wand for your children to eat. Delicious.
